Drumming, reading, researching in a haphazard manner, relaxing, working on the farm, hermitude, philosophizing.
Someone - an unspeakably belligerent, sociopathic arsehole - incinerated two exercise books of mine the other day, along with about $500 worth of clothes. But I couldn't care less about the latter - those books contained roughly fifty otherwise unpublished works which were improving incrementally. So, excuse me if I've got a slight writer's block at the moment. It's not that I'm particularly upset about it, I am extremely stoic - it's more like a fear of repeating myself, concurrent with a sense that I would never come close to exceeding the heights I reached in those labyrinthine compositions.
